Kaitlyn Regnier

Junior in Chemical Engineering

Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Regnier, and I'm a Junior in Chemical Engineering. I love to cycle, shop, drink coffee, teach Zumba, and most importantly, do outreach! I'm involved in EC, AIChE, Theta Tau, and Illini Run Club. I chose EOB because SITE, one of our outreach events, convinced me to come to UIUC!

Fun fact: I can do a backflip!

Lamya Hussain

Sophomore in Chemical Engineering + Minor in Computer Science

Hi, I'm Lamya! I'm a sophomore studying Chemical Engineering with a CS minor. I hold a position as Co-Director on EOB and am on the Engineering Freshman Council and I’m also in AIChe. I'm super excited to be on EC and build a community with other engineering students. During my free time, I love hanging out with my friends, listening to music, shopping and watching TV!

Fun fact: A fun fact about me is I LOVE the soda sprite.

Junior in MatSE + International Engineering and Spanish

My name is Elliott, and I'm a Junior majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. Outside of EOB, I am an EcoRep for ISEE and an Intramural Referee. I enjoy reading, anything sports-related, and attempting to learn Spanish. I chose EOB because I want to help make STEM accessible to all youth.

Fun fact: While studying abroad in Spain, I hiked 65 km from one side of Gran Canaria to the other.

Sophomore in Computer Science major with a minor in Business

Hi my name is Roshni and I am a sophomore computer science major. I am involved in SWE and MedLaunch on campus! I love to hike, cook, and play volleyball. I chose to be apart of EOB because I love talking to students about why UIUC is great!

Fun fact: I have been to over 10 countries!

Junior in Civil Engineering

Hi, I’m Amelia! I’m a junior studying Civil Engineering with the goal of working in construction. At Illinois, I’ve gotten involved with both pedagogy and sustainability, which are areas I’m really passionate about. I joined EOB because I want to help other students feel confident and excited as they pursue engineering.

Rohan Ramkumar

Junior in Mechanical Engineering

Hi my name is Rohan and I am a mechanical engineer. Currently I am in iRobotics and IEM, and in my free time I enjoy building legos, listening to music, mariokart and talking to my girlfriend and family! Something I really like about EOB are the members that make it up. Everyone is really nice and inclusive, and they never fail to make me smile. I chose to be a part of EOB because I wanted to become a part of an organization that influenced and impacted future students to both study engineering and make a difference in the world.

Hamza Usman

Sophomore in Bioengineering major, minors in Statistics and Chemistry

Hi! My name is Hamza, and I’m a sophomore in Bioengineering. On campus, I’m involved as vice president for NMDP, and a part of NeuroTech, SCARF, and Avicenna Outreach. Outside of classes and RSOs, I enjoy hanging out with friends and spending time with family. I'm excited for EOB because it brings together students from different backgrounds and interests to work on outreach projects that make an impact, and I joined this committee because I wanted to help contribute to making STEM feel approachable and exciting for others!

Fun fact: I'm a big fan of Formula One!

Senior in Civil & Environmental Engineering

I'm Adara, a junior in civil & environmental engineering. I'm Co-Director of EOB, and I'm so excited for this year in EC! I love this wonderful committee and the amazing people within it, and working with them to accomplish our rewarding and meaningful events is something I am so grateful for.

Fun fact: I’ve tried 13 different latte flavors from Espresso Royale (my current favorite is a strawberry vanilla latte)

Junior in Mechanical Engineering + Minor in Computer Science & Health Technology

Hi, my name is Khushi Patel and I am a Mechanical Engineering major with a minor in Computer Science & Health Technology. Besides EOB, I am the Co-Director for ASME Product Development, current intern for Abbott, & researcher. During my free time, I like to work out, explore new places, and try new foods. I love being apart of EOB as to guide prospective students and help them navigate the exciting possibilities within engineering!

Fun fact: I can deadlift double my weight.

Hi, my name is Richie Ruane and I’m a junior in Civil Engineering. On campus, I’m involved in Theta Tau and am an ELA for incoming freshmen. I love going on walks while listening to music, baking banana bread, and going on runs. I chose to be a part of this committee because I truly enjoy my experience at UIUC, and I want to help show all the great opportunities our school has to offer to new students.

Fun fact: My favorite animal is a Grizzly Bear

Junior in Chemical Engineering

Hey, I'm Aidan, and I'm a junior in chemical engineering. I run webinars here for EOB, and I am also actively involved in Theta Tau. I joined EOB because I want prospective students to see the great array of opportunities Grainger Engineering offers! Outside of academics, I love to work out and collect vinyl records.

Fun fact: I can hold a handstand for 15 seconds.

Freshman in Systems Engineering and Design

Hi my name is Ayden Lau and I am a freshman majoring in systems engineering and design. Besides EOB, I am involved in Theta Tau, IISE, and the LEADS LLC. I enjoy hanging out with friends, lifting, and, playing sports. I joined EOB because I attended SITE as a prospective student and had such an amazing time that I wanted to join ever since!

Fun fact: I can juggle a soccer ball.

Boden Lankford

Freshman in Materials Science Engineering

My name is Boden Lankford and I’m a materials science engineering major. My RSOs are engineering council, materials advantage, and pickleball club. Some of the other things I do for funny is weightlifting and hanging out with friends. What I like about EFC is giving kids insight into how to prepare and what to expect with going off to college. Which is why I picked EOB as my commitee as well and my relationships within it.
